Mission/Vision

The FCP exists to bring glorify to God by fulfilling the Great Commission by facilitating and developing church planting teams who will strategically plant reproducing networks of house churches as the Spirit leads.

VISION:

We believe that this model will work well in restricted countries. We are training men to go primarily to closed countries. We facilitate teams in other countries and are presently working with 7 teams in other parts of the world. The teams are modeled after the apostolic bands in the New Testament and are committed to planting reproducing networks of house churches. There have been more than seventy church planters trained in Rhode Island who are now in closed countries.

We believe that God desires reproduction at every level of church life; reproducing disciples, leaders, congregations, church planters, and church planting teams. We want to see church planting churches cooperate to send church planting teams to other parts of the USA and the rest of the world. We desire to do our part in fostering this cooperation, not by setting up a new mission agency but rather by helping teams train in the USA and either releases these teams to existing agencies and/or covenant with them in a mentoring relationship. We also have a team in covenantal relationship with a group of sending churches and a team on the field. FCP desires to see these types of relationships expand. FCP provides cognitive and practical training in church planting, entry strategies through business opportunities, and Islamic training in the context of Rhode Island based churches and church planting situations that are birthing and parenting Apostolic Spheres.

We have four ways of training men/women:

  1. Train them here with the team and then send them abroad. Current apprenticeships are FCP , Rhode Island; Immerge, Lancaster Pennsylvania; Impact, Oxford, United Kingdom, and M-28  Lucerne, Switzerland.
  2. Visit them overseas for further training: we presently have coaching relationships with several teams serving with Frontiers.
  3. Training men/women already on the field through internships usually when they are back on home assignment (furlough).
  4. Arrange field internships with training teams in the field that are in relationship with FCP.  Current apprenticeships:  Because of Security issues these are not available through email or printed material.  You can contact the various training teams above to find locations.
